Bill listens to colleagues
To his credit Bill Shorten has backed away from his captain's call on company tax cuts and has vowed that his party will support the cuts for businesses with an annual turnover of up to $50 million.
You could see from the worried and confused looks on his colleagues faces on TV that they were going to bring pressure on Bill to back off. They did, and he listened and acted.
It's not about the business world trusting Bill Shorten, it's about the business world trusting the Labor Party and Bill has to get this message across.
May the Force be with we the great unwashed!
